October 1974.

An affectionate autograph inscription in blue ink on cream paper, approximately 9.5 × 11 cm: “To Maureen, Bim and Kristen, / with love / Bing. / October 1974.” In very good condition, with light age toning and occasional minor marking. The inscription remains bold and clear.

The recipients can be identified as Maureen Baker-Munton, du Maurier’s secretary and close friend, her husband Monty, known as “Bim”, and their son Kristen. Signed using du Maurier’s intimate nickname, this is an appealing personal memento of her longstanding friendship with the family.
