Accompanied by a SIGNED photo of U-Boat supremo, Erich Topp. Erich Topp (1914�2005) was a German naval officer and one of Nazi Germany�s most successful U-boat commanders during World War II. He commanded U-57 and later U-552, known as the �Red Devil Boat,� sinking dozens of Allied ships during the Battle of the Atlantic. After the war, Topp joined the post-war West German Navy (Bundesmarine) and eventually rose to the rank of rear admiral.
