An original wooden boomerang bearing the handwritten heading “ENGLAND 82/3”, SIGNED across its face by members of England’s 1982–83 touring party. Readable signatures include Bob Willis, David Gower, Bob Taylor, Ian Gould and Chris Tavare.

In very good overall condition, with surface rubbing, small marks and uneven fading to the ink, several signatures being considerably lighter than others. The wood retains an attractive mellow colour.

An unusual and decorative souvenir of England’s Ashes tour of Australia, providing a distinctive setting for this collection of cricketing autographs.
