A first edition, first printing of �The Day of the Jackal� published by Hutchinson in 1971 - stated �First published 1971�. A near fine book (light spotting to the page edges) with one small name and date to the head of the front endpaper. SIGNED �All best wishes from Frederick Forsyth 2024� to the title page. In a very good unclipped wrapper which has a little rubbing to the edges and spine tips and one closed tear (repaired) to the bottom of the rear panel. The book was signed within a year of the Author�s passing and is scarce thus
