Undated. A striking black-and-white portrait photograph, bearing a bold ‘James Herbert’ signature in black marker to the lower right, without dedication. The sitter is shown seated on the edge of a desk with arms folded, wearing a dark leather jacket, against an office setting with books, desk lamps and framed pictures. Presented within a broad cream double mount with bevelled edges, housed in a substantial black frame. The strong monochrome image and generously proportioned mount make an attractive display, with the signature particularly prominent against the lighter background. Condition: Very good overall. The visible photograph and signature present well. The frame has some light surface marks and scuffs, particularly towards the upper right. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
