Niki Lauda and James Hunt shared one of Formula Ones most dramatic rivalries. Lauda, precise and relentlessly analytical, transformed Scuderia Ferrari into a dominant force and made a miraculous return just weeks after his horrific 1976 Nrburgring crash. Hunt, charismatic and instinctive, drove with daring flair for McLaren and clinched the 1976 World Championship in a rain-soaked finale in Japan. Their fierce yet respectful rivalry captured the danger and glamour of 1970s Formula One, later immortalised for a new generation in the film Rush.
