Stephen King - Typed Letter Signed to a Schoolteacher, 1980
Original typed letter signed by Stephen King, dated 12 April 1980, written to Patrick Eddington of Northwest Intermediate School, Salt Lake City, Utah, and retaining the original USPS John Hancock postal stationery envelope addressed from King at Box 238, Center Lovell, Maine. King thanks Eddington and his class for their interest in his books and confirms that he has signed and returned books sent to him. Of particular interest, King expressly grants permission for enlarged excerpts from his books to be used in a school exhibition. He concludes by wishing Eddington well with his classes and signs boldly Stephen King in black ink beneath the typed valediction. A particularly attractive early piece of Stephen King correspondence from 1980, the publication year of Firestarter. Letter and accompanying envelope in very good to near fine condition, with light handling and minor age toning and a small green mark close to the salutation. Unframed. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
