An original black-and-white portrait photograph of film director, animator and Monty Python member Terry Gilliam, boldly inscribed in brown marker, “Safe Dreams”, and signed with a large, flourishing autograph across the lower portion of the image.

Accompanied by the original typed letter from Gilliam’s production company, Poopoo Pictures, dated 16 May 1996, confirming that the autographed photograph was supplied by Gilliam in response to a collector’s request. The letter provides particularly strong contemporary provenance and adds considerably to the appeal of the piece.

Photograph measures 15 x 21 cm. Some very light signs of handling, otherwise in Near Fine condition - not framed.
